Based out of California, ESPEN Learning is proud to offer customized online language services for personal or commercial use. Where large institutions and diluted programs fail, ESPEN succeeds by using a one-on-one, tailored approach. Offering classes over a variety of video chat platforms, ESPEN provides lessons that are dynamic and flexible, creating more favorable learning conditions.

In addition to our language services, ESPEN Learning offers tutoring for most subjects K-12. We also provide help with standardized test preparation, including AP Exams, SAT, ACT, GRE, and more!

We are also happy to help evaluate and format your résumé or cover letter.

About Us

Rusty has traveled extensively, gaining insight into how schools teach and students learn around the globe. From traditional classroom settings in the USA, to dedicated language schools in Spain and China, to concert halls in Austria, to classrooms on boats, and even underwater, in the Caribbean Islands, Rusty’s experiences combine into a dynamic, multi-faceted teaching style that has produced excellent results while preserving interest and motivation.

In the Business Since 2013

Rusty holds bachelor’s degrees in Immunology, Medical Microbiology, and World Languages with an emphasis in Spanish. He also holds a master’s degree in Biomedical Science with an emphasis in Health Science. A large portion of his experience has been in the instruction of students from countries outside the US.



A Unique and Simple Approach

Because Rusty often teaches students with limited language skills, he has become proficient in explaining complex ideas using simple language. This makes learning language, math, and science much easier for his students.



Rusty has experience teaching both online and in-person. He has provided instruction in one-on-one, standard classroom, and lecture hall settings.
